Babies and stuff

So having a baby takes a lot of time. The other weekend Virlena and I were each trying to work on different projects. I can't remember what Virlena was doing but I was working on a couple different things for Halloween. Normally the baby is fairly content to sit in his jumpy thing or swing but that day we could not set him down without him crying. Needless to say we didn't get much accomplished that day. We had to trade turns playing with him and working on our individual projects. It will be interesting to see how we pull of the party. It takes a ton of time and time is something we don't seem to have much of lately!

Scary Cat

Our neighbor cat Diego likes to visit in unexpected ways, ways that often suprise and frighten us. His favorite way to visit is by climbing down to our basement window in the dark and peering in with glowing eyes. Sometimes he just sits in a window sill and angers our cats. Other times he tries to let himself in by pounding on the door. Recently I came home to a dark house and I went to turn on a light in the dining room and I saw something moving in the kitchen. I looked up and was greeted by glowing eyes in our kitchen window. Deigo was on our deck wall looking into our kitchen.

A few suggestions

Please check out the newest link, "A Very Long Hallway". It is one of my new favorite reads. On the right side of the blog she lists the different topics for each day. One of my favorite days is Everyday Science. If you have any medical, science, nature type questions she will be happy to answer them.

The other suggestion is for you to check out the Pushindaisies.com website. It is mortuary science novelty page. The best part is there is a forum for people in the mortuary science industry. This has proven to be a very interesting read too! I got addicted to it a few years ago while I was doing a Halloween party search. I particularly enjoy the names of the different categories of novelty gifts they sell. Toe tags anyone?
