Corpse Hand
I got to play with my liquid latex tonight!!! I started creating my first corpse hand. It is drying right now and I hope to paint it this weekend. I will post a picture when I am done. I got the idea and the directions from the Monster List of Halloween Projects.

The Grinch that is trying to steal Halloween
Virlena, a.k.a. The Halloween Grinch, has informed me that I am now free to work on a Halloween project between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. on the fourth Thursday of every odd numbered month. Woohoo!!! Okay, so I am exaggerating a little. . .(very little). She did tell me I could work on something though since we have all of our invitations, wedding favors, and main part of our programs done.

Nightmare Before Christmas Bathroom reVAMPED
I was running out of room in my bathroom for my Nightmare Before Christmas collection so we had to add some more shelves and rearrange some things. We got a big black velvet drape and added it to the mirror. It really adds to the bathroom if I do say so myself. Virlena hung up the three Jack heads from the ceiling. When you walk in the bathroom it looks like they are floating. The pictures really don't show it off too well. It was hard to capture it all since the area is so small.

Halloween on Hold
I am looking forward to making corpse hands with my brand new mold builder latex. . .but that will have to wait. Virlena says we have to put invitations together first. I would like to get at least one Halloween prop/project done before August but it depends on how much time we need for the weddings stuff. We have invitations and programs to put together and then once the reply cards start coming back we have the task of trying to seat everyone. So it looks like Halloween might have to be put on hold for a bit. In non-Halloween related news I found my wedding dress today! I LOVE IT!
